You probably have lots of friends out there, but are they all meant the same do you? Where do you place them in your heart? Not sure? Here’s a simple way designed by a professor to find out how:
-You have fixed a 5.30pm appointment with someone. You are late, very late. Its 5.30pm and you have just only left your house! Once you meet him/her, you keep apologizing, sorry, paiseh and all the crap stuff. He/she gives you an annoying look and says “what time already? Drink is on you!” After that, life goes on as if nothing happened.
Now that’s what you consider him/her a BEST FRIEND in your heart. By the way, the drink treat will never materialize. Com’on, best friend leh…
-You have fixed a 5.30pm appointment with someone. You reach at around 5.25pm to 5.35pm. Reach early, you wait. Late, you say nothing much. Neither will he/she make any real complaints.
Now that’s what you consider him/her a FRIEND in your heart.
-You have fixed a 5.30pm appointment with someone. You reach at 5.30pm sharp! If you happen to reach early, you shop around the area and only be back at the meeting place 5.30pm sharp! Not early not late.
Now that’s what you consider him/her an AQQUAINTANCE in your heart.
-You have fixed a 5.30pm appointment with someone. You reach at the latest 5pm! And you patiently wait down there. If you need to go to the washroom, you give yourself only 3mins to do that! And you make sure you walk fast/run! After that, you will be back at the meeting place and just WAIT.
Now that’s what you consider him/her a SPECIAL ONE in your heart. You will never late for 9 out of 10 times. And you will always reply “just reached not long ago”, even though that means “I reached 1 hr ago!”
-You have fixed a 5.30pm appointment with someone. You never turn up at all!
Now that’s what you consider him/her a ……hey com’on WAKE UP! Do I know you?!
So which category to you belong to? haha...just a worthlless theory...not necessary true all the time...haha
